Pilanesberg National Park is South Africa’s fourth-largest game park located in a crater in the Bojanala Region of the North West Province. The crater is the product of an extinct volcano that erupted many millions of years ago and has evolved to become one of the most fascinating landscapes.

Over 7000 wild animals, including the Big 5 (elephant, rhino, leopard, buffalo and lion), live in the park in a free and unhindered environment. You may also encounter zebra, giraffe, cheetah, hyena, hippo, crocodile, jackal, wild cat, various antelope as well as over 300 bird species…the list is endless. Bring your camera to have a permanent record of all the wild animals and the spectacular landscape this National Park has to offer.

Disembark at the Palace of the Lost City, part of the Sun City complex, it is known as one of the most extraordinary hotels in the world. The building has a unique interior boasting impressive sculptures and handmade furniture. The complex also hosts golf tournaments and boasts its own Water Park, the Valley of Waves.

The Sun City & Pilanesberg tour offers an alternative for travellers who are visiting Johannesburg and do not have the time for a 3-day safari (for example Kruger National Park, which is a 5-6 hours drive or flight away)
